Subject: easy fruit crumble
EASY FRUIT CRUMBLE
Mix together in a large oven-proof dish:
4 cups fresh fruit (blueberries, strawberries, peeled and sliced peaches, or
peeled and sliced apples)
sugar to taste (amount depends on the fruit used, start with 2 tablespoons)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons cornstrach (more if the fruit is really juicy)
Combine in a small mixing bowl:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup light brown sugar
Cut into small pieces and add:
1/2 cup butter
Combine with your fingers or a pastry blender until mixture is in coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle on top of fruit. Bake at 375 until topping is brown and bubbly,
about 25 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
